In this final section we will take our pattern, put it into repeat as a background and then we will add stylized text frames and text. We will then use Adobe Illustrator to create the swatch legend. We will use the color files we previously made and a "script" that will create the swatch legend automatically for us! No typing, no sweat! We will need to download that script though. The first video in this series will get us started with a short introduction to this lesson (Section - 7). This intro will give us an overview of what we will have when we complete the course and how to get set up. This video is 2 minutes and 24 seconds. This video demonstrates how we create the background / frame for the swatch legend. We will also do some "layer management" for the presentation file we are working on. This video shows us a method for "changing the repeat". This method will differ from the first method demonstrated. This is part of creating the second presentational group. This video is almost 5 minutes long. The exercise itself should take us about 10 - 15 minutes.
In the final video of this series, we will complete the lesson in section 7 of the recoloring patterns side of this course. We will convert our Photoshop document to multiple .pdf's which we will then combine into a single .pdf document. This video is 6 and a half minutes long. The exercise will take about 15 minutes to complete.
At this point we have completed this block of instruction. This course in its entirety takes us above the beginner's level and well into professional level skills.
