It was in 2019 while teaching a (traditional in-class) CAD course at a charter high school in Rio Rancho, New Mexico that the pandemic hit, and schools closed. That meant that the school precipitously became a ‘remote’ or distance learning institution. That then necessitated the development of online materials for the class on a very tight timeline.
